I'm looking at a Holton T-101 - the Bach clone from the 1980s and 90s. Do these trumpets share common parts with Bach? Specifically, do Bach slide stop screws, valve stems and valve springs work on the T-101?

I don't believe so. I had Steve Winans (Dr. Valve) do some work on a T-101 years ago, and my recollection is that he couldn't use Bach parts -- close, but not exact.

Have your local tech check the Allied Parts Catalog for H579 Valve Stem. It was used with all of the 100 series trumpets and the MF trumpets.

If they no longer stock it, you would need to spend some money with

for their HEVS valve stems.

The springs can be sorted out - just measure them and check eBay.

6-36 and 8-32 are a couple of common thread sizes you might check. You might by some nuts from the hardware store to figure out the thread and size. When you know that you can compare them to other brands.
