16 inch. I had to send it to a company with a turntable big enough. It’s 33 ⅓ RPM. You can see the picture of the LP at that URL.
They were sort of rare because I believe they were used for recording live and sent to radio stations.
I have three albums with between 5 and 7 tracks on each of the six sides. These were done maybe in 1953 before Claude’s Warner Brothers deal after winning the competition in 1959.
I personally think these tracks swing better than the later recordings that were very clean playing but a little stiff feeling.
Some of the tracks have a pedal tone or two for fun.
