Does anyone know the approximate dimensions of the Gard Elite Taco inserts? Will they fit a small bell Flugelhorn? Are there different sizes available? Sizes aren’t listed on the Gard site. Thx

My Gard taco insert is about 15" wide when laid flat and about 19" long. My Van Laar flugelhorn does not fit in that taco, but usually the flugelhorn goes in the case first and the taco is for smaller horns that lay on top of it.

I've only seem the one size. You could ask them directly by filling out the "contact us" form here:

https://www.gardbags.com/en/contact-us

They are very responsive. Anirban or someone else on the team will get back to you quickly.

You could also reach out to J. Landress Brass. They are an authorized Gard dealer and should know if a different size is available.

The Gard Tacos work great with my trumpets and flugelhorn in my Gard Elite Triple case. I have had no issues with enough "coverage" or padding for my flugehorn when putting my case in that configuration.

Fusion sells a similar product. They have a cornet sleeve, trumpet sleeve, flugel sleeve and tenor horn sleeve. Can be bought separate.
