Yes, I too play Donat mouthpieces. I love and use The Soloist, The Touvron and The Touvron-D models.

Dimitri is wonderful to work with and very accommodating. He has made me full sets (trumpet, cornet & flugel), of the models I listed above.

I have tried a few other models as well and while they weren't a match for me, they were very good (two are listed on ebay at the moment - 169C3 heavy and 163D).

Generally speaking, I find his mouthpieces to be more efficient than most (more sound for the amount of air used). They also seem to brighten-up pretty quickly - YMMV

Tried the 168D. I was looking for something that looked like the Monette B6S1.
Donat isn't very available to answer when it comes to Monette
