Quick question guys & gals. I recently invested in a K&M base that hold 4 pegs. I have 2 trumpet pegs and a flugelhorn peg. My question is this, for those of you that own these, what are you using as a piccolo trumpet peg? Does one exist?
I went to the main page of Konig & Meyer and I didn't see anything specifically stating it was designed for a piccolo trumpet. When I think about it, I suppose it is due to the different flairs and lengths of piccolo trumpet bells. For the record, mine is the long bell 9830 Yamaha model.
What are you guys using? I've seen somewhere that a clarinet peg (not sure if Bb or Eb) could be used as a piccolo trumpet stand.

Clarinet peg is what I've heard. Might need to be tweaked -- I had to add a foam ring to support my picc in G and to keep the top from hitting inside when in A/Bb, and added a (microfiber) cloth to better protect my wee beastie.
At one time, I know I saw a picc tpt peg advertised, but didn't see it on the K&M website now -- maybe I just missed it?

Hey do you have the phone number I could call right off hand ... it is the website http://www.wwbw.com correct?
That sounds like the solution for me. I'm still looking up clarinet pegs right now to see how they look. I'm thinking I could modify the piccolo trumpet peg if necessary though. _________________ Bb - Yamaha Xeno 8335RGS

Nevermind ... just found it .... it shows the item # when you check out:

I noticed there is a cheaper clarinet peg also for a little over $7 but it is all wooden ... not to my liking!! _________________ Bb - Yamaha Xeno 8335RGS
