Here's what I've got for the 1935 - 1945 era. They started making Committees in 1937 or 38, I think.
If anybody's interested, I have the list from 1917 - 1934, too.
1935: 114771 - 117793
1936: 117794 - 120816
1937: 120817 - 123839
1938: 123840 - 126862
1939: 126863 - 129885
1940: 129886 - 132908
1941: 132909 - 135931
1942: 135932 - 138954
1943: 138955 - 141977
1944: 141978 - 145000

Thanks' guys. That helps a lot. I'm having a lot of fun playing what is apparently a 1942 Committee. Great sound, but it seems a little leaky. Seems like the valve aren't really up to tolerance. Is this common for these horns? Do you know of any way to correct it? Or should I just not worry about it and enjoy?

I have been dating 2 old martins for several months now. They are easier to get along with than my wife, so I think I will keep dating them. Wait - Thats not what you guys meant, is it. Nevermind. |

japle,
I've seen your dating list for vintage Martin trumpets several times on the TH. Could you also give your source? Is there a web site?
Thanks,
Larry |

I´m 36, if that helps, but I couldn´t find any serial #. My wife always tells me I´m one-off, anyway.
Oh, I just realized the question was about OLD Martins, so sorry for being OT... _________________ All the best
