I recently purchased a Bach model 311 F trumpet with the G slides--serial number 43051. They currently call this model the Bach 192.
Can anyone help me find the year of manufacture? It's an Elkhart horn with the s/n stamped on each valve. I believe it was made in the late 1960's, but am not sure.
Thanks! _________________ Steve Gruver

Thanks for the weblink to the Bach S/N list. However, if you look at the years around the time my horn was made its VERY vague. I'm just looking for more specifics.

Judging by the serial list whereas 30,000 is at 1965 & 50,000 is at 1970; by interpolation, you would find that you horn was manufactured sometime in 1968. _________________ www.erikveldkamp.com |
