I was fortunate enough to be able to try quite a few of these trumpets out earlier this year. They are great trumpets. They sound a little rounder than the 6310z. I find them to have a better balance and sound and find them to be very responsive and versatile. The new bells that Yamaha is making I think sound beautiful.
