Glad it went well!
I had the same thing happen when I got mine... I'd used it in the Praise Team for a while, and then was asked to play with the choir on Palm Sunday and Easter at the late (legit, traditional) service. The CD wanted a muted first part, and as I didn't have recorked mutes (this was just a week or two after getting my WT) I decided to play my old Bach. (The CD is a music major, piano/organ/voice, and very, very picky about how things sound.) I was also at this point still a bit more comfortable performing on my Bach. The keyboardist, who played for both sevices and is a very talented guy, asked me to bring both horns to the rehearsal.
After playing the part muted, the keyboardist suggested that, with the choir miked and all, I didn't really need to be muted. So, we ran it again sans mute. CD agreed it sounded just fine that way. Keyboardist then says, since I didn't need the mute, why not play my new horn? OK, third run through. THIS time, the CD commented on the great sound! Keyboardist smirked to me and says "told ya' so!" I'd not played the WT much to this point, and was still going back and forth in services. He knew what to do to show me how well the WT sang!
The Bach's been in it's case ever since...
