I've been updating the StewMuse website and adding some pieces to the catalog for trumpet ensembles.

Variations on a Theme by J.S. Bach (Stewart) - The Brandenburg Concerto theme, for 10 trumpets (double quintets of picc, 3 C's, and flugel). Professional level work, everyone gets a workout!

La Rejouissance (Handel)- Straight ahead arrangement for trumpet sextet (picc, 3Cs, flug).

Game of Fifths (Stewart)- Work for solo trumpet + trumpet sextet (4 Bbs + 2 flugels). Moderate difficulty, a little more so in the solo part.

Las trompetas matadoras (Stewart)- Short trumpet quartet in bold style for medium skilled players.

Polyphonies IV (Stewart)- Solo trumpet in C plus standard brass quintet. A fairly difficult work for all players. Lots of interaction between parts.

Sample PDFs of the scores to these works can be seen at the StewMuse web pages. Stop by sometime!

If you want to make an easy sale - if you could bring a copy of every trumpet ensemble piece with you to ITG and set them aside for me - I will take one of everything.
If you think I am joking, ask either Jim Olcott (Triplo Press) or the guys at Eighth Note - last year they prepared a pile of everything that was new to their catalogue in preparation for me!!
I took the lot!

If you are able to deal with credit cards at ITG I will have one ready.

Oh, any chance of a bulk buy discount price? (no harm in asking )

Thanks Trumpetmike -
I do plan on being at ITG in Denver. Let's talk as the time grows near. Best wishes...
