Is anyone out there currently or formerly a student of U of L? If so, what is the school like, as far as preparation for the future in a music career? |

I graduated from U of L back in the Bronze Age.
Mike Tunnel is a great guy and an excellent teacher. There are some very good people on the jazz faculty as well (John LaBarbera, Jamey Aebersold, etc.).
It is a really growing situation that is very positive. It is definitely one place you should look at closely. |

I attended U of L in the mid-sixties and loved there enviroment. They had a great Trumpet dept. and it was a great stepping stone to Northwestern where i recieved my Masters. |
