I just noticed there are 4 -- count em 4! -- Yamaha 731 flugels in the marketplace. What happened that made all those people sell at the same time? I've got one, and I'd never ever sell it... |

Yeah, Yamaha better watch out! I have a 631, and a friend of mine just bought the V1. NO CONTEST. The V1 sounded sweeter, had better response, better slotting, and the third valve trigger was much more comfortable (plus, the wood extension arm looks really cool!). My 631 is a sweet horn, too...DANG IT ALL!

I know of a mint, satin-silver V1 flugel available for $1200 if anyone's interested. A friend is selling it. (Notice, I'm keeping my 731, but I like the V1 a bunch).
