Charile is my teacher and I've played this horn (off and on) since it was new. I remember when he got it new and it was unlacquered and man could it peel paint! Then I saw it after it was plated. I play it on it every time I'm at Charlie's for a lesson and love it. It's really an awesome horn, as all the Malones are.

I had emailed and asked him why he is selling it as well and he responded with the following:

"Hi Josh. I'm selling the horn to get a new one. This is an excellent horn
but I want to find a horn that plays alittle darker. I get the hand from
our music director alot. Charlie"

Do you think he might be getting one of the new Malone-designed models?

He's going back to a Bach for a bit, *until* the new Malones come out.

Eric,

Charlie's new to the whole computer thing. He probably didn't know there was a section like that on here.

It wasn't until last fall that I saw his room-mate showing him how to type on a laptop. I asked him years ago why he didn't have an email address to which he replied..."don't need one, I've got a telephone."
