This looks really strange to me. I'm not suggesting it's a scam, it's just a strange horn ... a [url=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=16214&item=3724272589&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW] gold-plated Lafayette trumpet.[/url] Take a look at the bead on the bell, too.

Also, I don't have any experience with gold-plated instruments, is the mottling you can see on the pictures typical?

Any thoughts?
