A great looking horn! When will you get it? Which music store did you buy it from?

The Bergeron Models are nice horns.

The finish looks great! My WB is scratch lacquer, but yours looks even better. Is it scratch gold lacquer or is it actually plated? Either way, the more important thing is that these horns are great playing instruments. I love mine!

I'll be getting it next week. It is scatch gold plated, with a polished inner bell. I'll post some impressions after I've had it a while.

I ordered it through PC King at PiCK Music. She's a pleasure to deal with, answered all my questions, e-mails, kept me updated throughout, and I know it's been checked and prepped by a trumpet player who knows what she's doing.

When I get ready for my flugel, she's the one I'm going to call!

Wow,a blow by blow account of it being prepped and shipped.

Sounds like a great person to do business with.

Yes, PC is the best to deal with. No wonder she has so many satisfied customers. Make sure you give us feedback when you get the horn. Wow, I'm jealous!

Great horn. You're going to love it. I have a 1504 in brushed silver. It's essentially the same horn, I believe, and it's a terrific player.

Update:

Actually, I have not received the horn yet. There are some reasons for the delay. If you're interested in knowing what happened please PM me.

I should be receiving the horn this next week though.

Note: The delay had nothing to do with anything Pick Music did or did not do. PC King has been extremely professional and conscientous. It has been a pleasure dealing with her.

Is that the same horn Scootsky brought to the DFW hornfest? It was a great playing horn. If so, I hope you like it. One of my friends had a similar one for sale here in the DFW area, if anyone's interested. Don't know the price.

Yes, there was a brushed lacquer WB at the DFW TrumpetFest. I hope PC will send us another one this year. I don't think the one under discussion here is the same horn, but the same model. (I think the WB went back to PiCK and could very well be this particular horn).
