I might be wrong, but I would guess that the seller has shown the slides fully extended to show that they do actually move.
The length of each of the slides looks very much like they would if you did this. |

Look at it this way............. All the slides are pulled out almost to the point of falling out.
That third slide has no fingerhook, that's a lyre holder.
It looks like this horn is a student model.
