I went to a good concert yesterday given by Jazzmobile.

Danny Moore led the band. Jesse Drakes was there, haven't seen him for many years.
He is one of the great unsung Uptown/Harlem players. So is Danny. It was a blast going to that gig.

Wow!! I checked the website and saw that Clark Terry is playing on the 25th. I missed him once, and I don't want to again. How does this Jazzmobile thing work? I don't see anything about pricing or reservations.

I had not thought about 'the Jazzmobile' in years. I grew up in NJ and remember going to some of the concerts ... and hearing about them advertised on WRVR. Time flies. |
