So, has anyone come up with a handy solution to carrying around multiple Warburton tops that have no backbore to sit on? I have them in a little soft felt bag, but they always clatter into each other...

Is there a little case-type-thing out there?

Doesn't look like anyone has an answer to this. How many tops are you talking about? I carry two complete trpt mp's and one Fl in a leather padded pouch that has some room for bottoms too. I can find out the manufacturer if that is something that would work for you. I've found that it is easier to strore Warburtons if I just screw them together slightly. They seem to roll around less with fewer parts.

I have 4 tops, but only one backbore. I figured at some point, somebody else may have run into the same situation and devised a clever way of carrying 'em around.

Just get a few more backbores. I know that is not what you were looking for but get some different bb's and see how you like the sound. I have 4 bb's and 2 tops.

You could get a small plastic box and put moderately dense foam into it (like the grey packing foam). Then cut out spots for the stems, or rims, or whatever, and put (glue) a thin sheet of foam on the top to hold everything nice and tight. Probably less than $5, maybe $10 if you have to buy a big sheet of foam...

Try a Cavallaro mouthpiece pouch. Store the backbores in each compartment. I have two of these pouches. Each one holds 4 mouthpices. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the suggestions. The Cavallaro mpc roll looks like the answer, I can stuff all the Warbutron tops in there.

I do just that, except I have 5 tops and 2 backbores. One of the tops I rarely use (4D) so that stays in a different place, but the others all fit in the mpc roll thing. The tops just sit there nicely with no problems.

John

edit:
By the way, anyone have a 4MC to sell/trade??
