Lesson 13 in SA is the first lesson that has you double tounge the Clarke exercises, one a lesson, starting with the first one. By this time (if you are following the lessons in succession), you have also done the first Clarke study (in Lesson 12) for speed and number of repetitions in one breath.
When double tonguing this exercise now, is it best to play each line of the exercise as written (twice through) only? I'm assuming that you wouldn't want to double tongue each line for up to 8 or 16 times in one breath. Is this correct?
Thanks,

Thanks for your answer, Eric.
The charts are working out really well, by the way! We already have done a number of them on gigs, and the whole band thinks their great. Once we can go through the latest ones at our next rehearsal, I'll be ready to get the next batch from you. Thanks also for including "Ruby Baby" - should be a really good chart to work up!
