The V1 is becoming one of the more popular trumpets. From my understanding, they are designed by Fred Powel (?), formerly of Lawler.

I spent a few hours with many different models one day. They all played very nice, I preferred the rose-brass bell. They sounded good, but I was also auditioning a Kanstul 1500TW at the time, and in my opinion, the TW sounded nicer. However, I played the Kanstul in a different room with totally different accoustics, so I'm taking that into consideration.

The extra goodies that it comes with are a definate plus!
