I won an auction for a no name cornet...turns out to be a Holton Collegiate Special Deluxe. It needs work but worth the 38.00 I paid for it. Does anybody have info on this model...I mean the Special Deluxe. What makes it SPECIAL and DELUXE? Also would like to see a pic of one on the net....If anybody has info please post. Thanks. Oh yea...serial number is in the 229000 range and it was made in 1951. The slides and valve caps are nickel.
