Anybody have one of these for parts, or by chance any parts stashed away?
I need a third slide, (or just the crook) a valve spring and a salvageable bell.
Thanks! |

Hi,
It's been awhile since I was at Rich's place, but at that time he had at least one 3-Star that was not going to be restored. Then again, there were variances on the wrap of the 3-Star cornets in different eras.
Call Rich Ita on Tuesday (he's closed on Monday) and have your serial number ready. He may be able to help you. He's restored both of my 3-Stars and they are great playing horns indeed! He would be a good person to properly restore your Boston. Don't let any old hack mess it up. Rich will always find time to work on a 3-Star!
You can find his phone number on his website:

Remember, call him . . . don't e-mail him. He'd rather be working on horns that stuck at a computer screen for hours . . . and he wears a headset phone as he works. Tell him Tom said "Hi!"
Sincerely,
Tom Turner |

Hi,
I think I have the parts you need. I have three Boston Three Star horns that are salvageable, and one that is purely a parts horn. Send me an email at the email link below.
