1972 Bach 37, lacquer: $380 USD

p.s. Local store in Starkville, MS so probably not the best price. Took me two summers to pay it off, btw, but it was mine when I was done!

Bach 37 with 1st valve trigger lacquer from Manny's in New York around 1972(ish) 336.00 I was a snow shoveling, news paper tossing, dog walking sort of young entrepeneur trumpet loving maniac.

I bought a brand new Strad 180/37 in 1967 for $325. Took me 18 months to pay for it, but it was far and away the best Bach I ever played.

My C 229 Bell 25A pipe in Laquer was purchased for 850.00 in 1992 from Osmuns. Can't believe how prices have increased. Blame Dave Monette...It's all his fault...LOL JOKING

180S 37 bought new in 1971 $350. Still my main battle axe.
