" Well, I agree that spelling and grammar are important, although they seem to mean very little in most of these forums. The sentence ACTUALLY should have read: "I couldn't recommend SC to anyone WHOSE playing I cared about." "Who's" is the contraction for "who is" (as in, "Who's Claude Gordon?"). "Whose" is the possessive pronoun, which is appropriate for your usage.
