I'm just wondering what are the qualifications to being a moderator of a certain forum??
What does one do as part of the job??
How are moderators chosen? |

The moderators have been chosen partly by the membership, partly by me. They just need to be knowledgeable and well-spoken individuals. In the past they've been members who have been around the board for awhile and been 'drafted' into their positions. |

trjeam,
As the divisions of members exists here on TH; so should there be among moderators with their specific requirements.
New Moderator: Willing to take guff from others only at specified times of the day.
Regular Moderator: Willing to take guff from others any time of the day.
Veteran Moderator: Not willing to take guff nor wanting to give it day or night.
Heavy Weight Moderator: Willing to give guff and not take it at anytime of the day or night. It is required for them to carry a portable computer with them at ALL times so as to respond within minutes; thus, the term "Heavy Weight."
Now the question maybe should be, should the moderately modern day moderators be able to be moderate and if so at what level of moderation?
