Here's a couple of products I've discovered that are cheap and really work great.

One is called "Febreeze" and it's terrific for deodorizing old instrument cases. It's a spray-on product available for a few bucks in the laundry supply section of supermarkets and stores like Target. You just spray it on and let it dry.

The other is called "EZ Movers," and they're the slickest thing I've ever seen for moving heavy objects, like chests, book cases, etc. They look like little plastic sleds and you just lift a corner, stick 'em under, and push. They work especially well on carpeting. They're available at hardware stores, Home Depot, etc. (I realize this item doesn't have anything to do with trumpet playing, per se, but it sure is a back saver!)

You are soooo right!!! Those "E-Z MOVERS" are the greatest. I used them underneath my entertainment system cabinet and now it's a breeze to move and get behind.
I gonna try and put a couple under my 15y.o. to get him moving a little!!!

Been meaning to try those "EZ movers"! Also, if you like Febreeze, you may also like the product by Clorox called "Freshcare". It seems to have a "fresher" and longer lasting scent!
