Back in the mid sixties when visiting my grandparents in Anaheim,CA I heard a trumpet song I liked.
I'll take a longshot and ask if anyone else knows what the heck I'm talking about.
It was a Carpet company commercial-- I think the name of the company was Carpenteria?
Or the song was actually the TV station's song. KTLA? I was a kid at the time.
Anyway, it was a nice flowing, haunting kind of trumpet solo with strings.
Any clues? Anybody remember? I recall hearing it just about on every commercial break during "movies until dawn" in the early to mid-sixties.

Mark,
Try the company's website: http://www.carpeteria.com/faq/
You might also ask who their first ad agency was. Someone in music clearance might remember the details.
Good luck!
