Very good playing, Tom sounds strong on this one, especially on "Everything Happens to Me." It's good to hear him sound like that again. I heard him several years ago, and he was really struggling with chop problems. I get to see him next week, so I'm hoping he plays like he does on this CD. |

I walked into an HMV last week and they were playing that album, sounded like Harrell was in good form. Made me want to go home and practice |

I really like this recording. If this was on old vinyl I would have worn the grooves out on "Where the Rain Begins". "Everything Happens to Me" sounds great too.

It got a good review in a recent Sound and Vision rag. Noted Tom's playing, and that of the sax player. Also noted 7 of 8 tunes are TH originals. Sounds like another one I need to find... - Don _________________ Don Herman/Monument, CO

Nick, HMV is a chain of music (cds) shops. The one that I was in is on Oxford St in London, it has fairly large jazz section. |

I love this CD and have several other recordings of Tom. He is very creative with his solos and a fine composer, too. What great ideas! _________________ Janell Carter
