| TH hasn't loaded for almost a day and now, when it does load (which isn't always), moves slower than ever before. |

The same thing is happening to me. I couldn't access TH at all on Tuesday Oct 29, and now that I can access it, it's so slow that it's almost unusable.
Maybe the host is having server problems. Maybe that's the reason for the flawed backup the other day.

it is so slow that I made and drank and cup of coffee by the time i opened the site to the time I posted this...

The site's host is having a great many difficulties - but, I believe they'll be ironed out in the next day or so. Stay tuned.
Sorry for the inconvenience. I had no idea this was in store or I would have taken steps to avoid it. |

Way too slow.
I tried what I thought was the IP address (http://216.118.123.31/forum/index.php ) and found myself in a twighlight zone... a version of the TH dated October 25th -- it was much faster but I and Don Lee were the only ones posting (very lonely).
Glad TH is alive. Hope it speeds up soon.

EDIT: 12:16 PM and performance seems to be back to normal :grin:
