Bayou Brass Band

Greetings,

I know I just posted about Jesse, but I also wanted to see if anyone else had seen the Bayou Brass Band. I love these guy, because they are fun loving, kind hearted, and just have fun with their music. They play that cajun, lousiana style jazz with a new kick. Their tuba player (marching band style) is the band leader. They perform regularly at Disneyland and are really fun to talk to. After chatting with them and listening to them, I went right over to the shop next to the cafe I was at and bought their CD that is called "In our Shoes". Sometimes I wish I could feel the music like these talented jazz artists. Let me know what you think.

P.S. When I was there, their trombone player has this really cool instrument. It was a Bb alto valve trombone.

Hello,

The Bayou Brass Band is awesome!!!! For years I worked as a trumpeter in an amusement park called Lagoon here in the Salt Lake City area. After I saw the BB at Disneyland I came back to Lagoon and did some major revamping so that my band would be more like them. We even purchased a groovy cocktail kit for our drummer! Do you know if Bayou Brass has any plans to release another CD? I would love to have a recording of their arrangement of 'Lady Madonna'

P.S. (Even after revamping, my Lagoon band still wasn't 1/10 as cool as Bayou Brass though our act did improve greatly!)
