I know Lew is a great player but 90% of his recordings are muted you really can't get a sense of his natural sound. has anyone else had this problem. |

On Lonnie Plaxico's Melange Lew plays open horn on 4 out of the 5 tunes he performs on. He has a great sound. I also picked up a Jazz etude book that Lew plays on and he uses open horn throughout. Also check out Jeremy Pelt on tracks 6-11... another very strong player with a nice sound and original delivery. _________________ Eric M. Brewington
