My favourite non religeous holiday!
We had a great bonfire last night, with lots of friends round, a nine gallon cask of Caledonian Deuchars IPA and a few children. We were also celebrating my sister's birthday which was the day before.
How's this for a bonfire? (we got a whole shed ablaze!)
We also had fireworks, which the kids (of all ages) loved, and I managed to burn my thumb setting off multiple rockets at once!
Anyone else have a bonfire party last night? |

That fire - impressive, most impressive.
Sadly I was without a bonfire party last night (I was also without a gig ), but I was able to watch my neighbour's from the warmth of inside - they seemed to have purchased the majority of the fireworks sold in the area - the display lasted longer than the local professional one (which I could also see) and were equally as impressive. |

I think so. Cool site, BTW.
I should point out before anyone askes, that the setting fire to the shed was entirely deliberate. |

Between Divali and GF, I have inhaled more than my share of second hand smoke here in West London. I'm amazed that emphisyma hasn't set in. _________________ Eclipse Enigma Bb trumpet 2011

Do Hindus have bonfires for Divali? I always thought it was candles and stuff. |

No bonfires, Clarino, but I drove my boy back from a friend's house in the Slough/Langley area on Tuesday night, and wasn't sure we were going to make it home through all the flak! As we passed the white cliffs of Uxbridge, I knew we'd make it back.... _________________ Eclipse Enigma Bb trumpet 2011
