not to burst anyone's bubble... but can you imagine how incredibly competitive it will now be to be admitted to this music school?

Yes, while Yale is a great program, it isn't one that performers specifically are falling all over themselves to get into. This will probably change that real fast, as performers tend to be the poorest of the lot often.
