Nah...I'm currently on a sugar rush...I just ate a bunch of SUPER CHUNKY DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH ice cream...and....yeah, I can't get to sleep.
Ok...it doesn't help that I"m bored out of my mind because I can't practice until Monday. *tears* That's sad....I have no life outside of my trumpet....

Go immediately to Blockbuster and rent "For Love or Country" starring Andy Garcia. Really great re-enactment of Arturo's escape from Cuba, which includes some nice trumpet playing segments.
I just picked up "Americana," Sandoval's arrangement of some American pop tunes, from my local used book/CD store and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
I'm certain you'll be blessed as you continue to expose yourself to the excellent trumpet musicians who have gone before you... perhaps a visit to the Performers forum might be a good idea, if you've not already done so? |
