I recently purchased the video series from Univ. of Alaska and found them enlightening. As a come-back player that had fallen into the trap of analyzing everything from embochure to breathing, the singular focus and goal orientation around sound really hit home and helped me simplify my approach. More importantly, my 10 year old son just started playing trumpet in school and I've been overseeing his practice at home. Bill's approach is the cornerstone of my budding teaching efforts! The results have been great so far!

Fantastic! I hope you can get some more clarification of those ideas from this forum. The forum Karl Sievers moderates on the Selmer/Bach website is also chock full of Adam influenced concepts. |
