Prayer of St. Gregory, Hovhaness
Amazing Grace, Wallace/Head arrangement (written for flugelhorn)
There's a Longing, -- (have to look it up; I transposed the oboe/flute part and it's beautiful)
Even in the Darkness, Ed Dowdall
Pavane ... D'... Infante, -- (just got this and can't remember the whole title; it's a funeral march, essentially, but very pretty, pub. by Intrada)
Any ballad (hundreds in the contemporary Christian music world) or soft song could be appropriate.
Chuck Mangione! Lots of books and sheet music, though you may have to transpose them.
I have a few more at home, but this might get you started. HTH - Don _________________ Don Herman/Monument, CO

Hello-
I performed Peaslee's "Nightsongs" on my last recital. It's quite a striking piece. Also, Joseph Turrin has a great piece for Flug. Michael Nyman has also written a piece. Another possibility is David Jones' "Copper Mountain Fantasy" for C tpt. and Flug. I'm not sure if it's been published, so it might take a bit of a search to find it.
Good luck!
