Hi all,
Does anyone know where I may find a published sheet music part for Cornet and piano to Richard Lane's 'Song for Cornet'? This is on Philip Smith's CD with Joseph Turrin playing the piano. Robert King and Hickey's doesn't carry it. Where else?
Any help would be appreciated.

Try Sheetmusic Service of Portland. They will be able to find it if it's still in print.800-452-1133.

After an exhausting search trying to find this beautiful solo, I finally contacted Mr. Lane directly. "Song for Cornet" is not published, but Mr. Lane is more than happy to send copies out to people who want it.
I just did a people search on Yahoo for Richard Lane from Paterson, NJ. You should be able to get his phone number that way. Unfortunately, he does not have email.
He is a kind, retired, gentleman, who will be flattered that you want to play his music. |
