hi! I play trumpet in a brassband as a hobby,
I own around 800 cds of jazz trumpet ,so I know quite a few,I just discover a new one to me, is name is WAYNE BERGERON ,I just bought is new cd name YOU CALL THIS A LIVING? i'm all exited because it was a long time since I've heard a new trumpet to me that was so good, what a sound he has,BIG
high notes all over the cd,and on the song rhythm method he play some good bebop too

Yeah, Wayne Bergeron was playing lead for Maynard in the Late 80s prior to Maynard going with his Big Bop band. I haven't heard any of this stuff, I'll bet it's pretty good. _________________ Patrick Gleason

He will own the studios in L.A. soon. Rick Baptist is no spring chicken anymore (although he does not sound it!), George is pretty much retired. Malcom is, how old? He's still the greatest player in the world, but Wayne is the most powerful Lead player. And he plays the whole horn! His legit chops are very good. Man, what a sound!! Make that your model and let yourself get better.
