There was a recording of National Anthems of the world by Kenton's 'Thundering Herd' I think it was out in the early 70's. Has anyone heard it? _________________ Earl

It's true that the Stan Kenton Orchestra did record the national anthems of all the nations. I'm not sure it's still in print, but it was the typical Kenton bombastic sort of thing you might expect if you're familiar with Kenton's music. He also recorded some of Wagner's works that I really liked. Oh, and by the way, the Kenton band was never known as the "Thundering Herd". That would be the Woody Herman band.
