Hello all,
Now that I've got some squeakers going for me, I've also got some neck puff going on too. How can I stop this before it gets out of hand?

Make sure that you are not delaying your attacks by bottling up the air.
Be sure not to over compress on your squeakers.
Heres another tip.....Buzzing seems to really help strengthen the neck muscles. Just remember that you are a type IV so don't ever "walk in" !!!! Only freebuzzing as some like to call it these days.
Its also important to make sure that your head is in the "two" position. This helps support the neck muscles.

What causes a neck puff? See page 67 in The Encyclopedia of The Pivot System. How to reduce or eliminate a neck puff? Ibid page 69. DSR, do you own the Encyclopedia? |
