In my quest to re-establish an income stream (after enjoying 21 months of unemployment), I'm having to rely on my 2nd love - playing trumpet.
Please forward information on how to get on a pit band in Branson, MO, i.e., who to call, which union local, where to go, etc. That seems to be the only playing venue for an Arkansas resident (short of auditioning for the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, Memphis Symphony Orchestra, Conway Symphony Orchestra, and the Pine Bluff Symphony Orchestra).
Some great responses to my plea for help regarding employment can be found in The Lounge. Thanks, all of you!

This is slightly off the subject, but does anyone know if Darryl Ecsedy still works in Branson? He's a student of Jim Manley's up in St. Louis, and I was just thinking about him the other day...
Thanks,
