Since playing trumpet is a hobby** for me the amount of time I can spend practicing is limited. I wish I had more when available I'm all over it:

M-F: 2 hours
Saturday: 2-4 hours
Sunday: As long as I can go. This is usually a free for all day where I warm up and play whatever I want.

Admittedly there are days that I take off but never in a row. This works well for me (and has nothing to do with chop fatigue or soreness).

** - I hate the word "hobby" when talking about playing trumpet. I am very passionate and devoted to it but can't think of another word to use until I start playing somewhere. My goal is to play jazz and improvise.

I'm an idiot or I need another cup of coffee. This was supposed to be a reply to another message... Admin, feel free to delete.

Choose "edit" then "delete" and it'll disappear.
