Hey Everyone,
My favorite trumpet player is George Vosburgh. What a powerhouse!! I just got his solo CD Trumpet Masterworks and am getting into his "aggressive" approach. Anyone know any more recordings by this legend? Who did he study with, etc. I know he went to Eastman. Man, Oh, Man that CSO Trumpet Section must have been pretty exciting when he was playing with Mr. Herseth! Anybody out there lucky enough to study with Mr. Vosburgh? What equipment does he play? What a "trumpeter's trumpeter!"

P.S. I just ordered the Pittsburgh Symphony Brass CD "Art of Fugue." I can't wait to hear how these guys approach J.S. Bach.
