So, I ended up purchasing the 90B discussed in a previous thread. However, 90B I purchased has a rounded 1st slide saddle rather than the standard UMI one, and it doesn't appear to be a re-solder. Looking at some pictures on google, only the 90B "Leonore" trumpets had the rounded thumb saddle. It also has the case that I found only on Leonore models.... I guess this means that I don't just have a regular 90B, but a 90B Leonore? Is this assumption correct? Problem is, it doesn't say Leonore anywhere on the trumpet.... _________________ Trumpet player in Couch

This is from and older thread... on Benge trumpets.

I had a 90B back in the 80s and if I remember right the 90B [and 90C] were all Leonore, we all just called them 90Bs just shortened it like we do when we say strad. By the way it was a great horn, played better for me then any of the 5-6 strads I had owned. the only reason I got rid of it was that I traded it in on a Bel Canto. _________________ Chicago Benge 33XX

As previously stated, I'm pretty sure all of them are Leonore's... but not always said.
if the only difference you see is a round thumb hook a good tech definitely could have changed that without leaving any signs whatsoever.
Just enjoy it and let us know how it plays! _________________ Adams Gold Brass/Nickel Flugel
