Until recently, I have searched for the 'perfect' combination of trumpet and mouthpiece. I must have bought and sold at least 30-40 high end horns in the last 3 years. About a year ago, Trent introduced me to the Adams flugel and A-4 Trumpet but I was still convinced that Monette was the gold standard mouthpiece.About a month ago, Trent sent me a TA-1 on trial. I haven't played on my Monette B3FS7 at all and can honestly say that I can play better, longer, higher and with more control than ever before. INHO, I feel that I have found the perfect marriage. I have also ordered a TA-2 and a flugel mpc. I love my Adams collection of flugel and 2 custom A-4 trumpets that I purchased from Trent and I must thank Trent and his ACB for making my playing into a passion again. He is a truly exceptional musician that listens and services his clients with his special 'touch' and then helps you make the right decision. He is the Best of the Best! |
