I use the squeeze bottle version for maxillary sinusitis, the kind that makes your upper teeth ache A pharmacist friend recommends doubling up on the salt packets. Works for me! _________________ Jim Hatfield

You just need to be careful not to get it mixed up with the bottle that contains your valve oil! (I'm not sure what's worse, salt water on your valves or oil up your nose.)

I use one first sign of a sinus infection. I started using one last year because I had so many sinus issues. It works well so far for me and clears things up in days and with out antibiotics. _________________ The only easy day was yesterday! |

I'm getting so fed up with periodic sinusitus that I have an appointment in a week with an ENT doc to discuss endoscopic balloon dilation, a minimally invasive procedure that, by all accounts, dramatically reduces inflamation and swelling while also improving drainage and breathing. _________________ Jim Hatfield

Awesome, let me know if it increases your range.
Thanks,

Did it affect your playing (good or bad)? |
I have not used the neti pot but do use the NeilMed Sinus Rinser, something similar and very effective. Use of cool boiled water should be a must.
It did not affect my playing negatively or positively but does make breathing much easier, it also gets rid of the swollen sensation under the eyes that some people get with bad head colds. _________________ Eclipse Large Yellow Bb Trumpet

Because if you used boiling water it would hurt you!!! _________________ Eclipse Large Yellow Bb Trumpet
