I've seen the guy's posts for a while. While I can understand why he could come across as a little eccentric, have you ever met some of the people who make your gear?

Just sit back, and enjoy the ride, guys. There's nothing off about Kirk. He's actually got a lot of great stuff to say.

I've read about that Di-hydrogen Oxide stuff...it's in so many things it's hard to avoid. I hear our lakes and oceans are totally polluted with it, and we're drinking it every day in our tap water - there's no way to filter it out.

WOW!!!! He must be in absolutely "retardly" blissfulness. Now, instead of Kirk hijacking or otherwise infecting threads with endless ( when you post that much you have to be right some of the time) posts, we are now using his name in thread titles and actually creating threads about Him. For a guy like CK, it just doesn't get any better. I'm not sure who to congratulate... or, for that matter, who deserves my condolences. Ahhh well... it was inevitable.

It's that kind of attitude that's prevalent in America that results in absolutely nothing being done.

hey guys isn't CLR dilute sulfuric (muriatic) acid? it's great for plumbing parts and mundane surfaces. i wouldn't want to try it on an expensive instrument.
nice to know the castrol super clean kicks butt, again, not going to find out on my stuff.
interesting discussion. chuck

Did you know that it's found in the bodies of one hundred percent of dead people? If you get just 5 ounces of it in your lungs, you will die.

If you drink pure dihydrogen monoxide, you will end up dehydrating yourself.

Been following this discussion, and in keeping with the title of the thread:
Kirk is NOT always incorrect, and does have some knowledge to share. Sometimes. Unfortunately though, his lengthy posts, poor spelling and grammar and journeys off on a tangent do lessen whatever credibility he might have. Not to mention his more-than-occasional slandering of respected instrument builders.

It's worse than that. The stuff can cause excess urination, and under some circumstances, can even cause death by suffocation!

The Cap'n may be a little nutty, but at least he doesn't post political comments-- and back them up with links to comedians-- on a TRUMPET FORUM.

Politicians and comedians - nowadays, who can tell the difference?

Oh, wait - comedians make jokes and politicians ARE jokes.

You did get it that it's a joke, right? Dihydrogen Oxide is H2O...water...
