My 1962 Olds Recording, bought new at the Olds factory in Fullerton. It was my first "good" horn. I traded it for a Buescher and cash so I could buy a motorcycle. What a dumb move! _________________ Bb -Bach/Blackburn 37G, Shires CLW

A 1960 or 1961 Conn 6B Victor trumpet my parents bought for me in high school. It was my first trumpet (I started out on cornet) and I sold it in the late '70s after I had bought a Bach Strad. I still play the Bach, and it's a fine trumpet, but you can never get your first trumpet back... _________________ "Brass bands are all very well in their place - outdoors and several miles away ." - Sir Thomas Beecham |

I'd never want my first trumpet back. (Dale, it was not a good horn.)
I do regret two, my Burbank Benge 5X which I got in high school and played for more than 20 years and a Yamaha 6335 which actually played much like that old Benge. It did not have the "ring" that great Benges do, but it was a good horn.
