See signature...plus a 67M if I'm feeling "insecure" or out of shape.

Started on Bach 7C, then 5C, the 3C, then 1 1/2C freshman year of high school because simply because I found one and liked it better than the 3C.
Now as a H.S. senior:
Trumpet- Bach 1 1/2 C, Bach 3D
Cornet - Bach 1 1/2 C, Bach 1 1/2 B
Flugel - Yamaha 16F4
I get to go hunting soon (probably for a GR) and hopefully find something I like to replace the 3D. _________________ Charles Russell Roberts

Cornet - started on NY Bach 7, now play a Schilke 14 and 12b4, and occassionally a Jet Tone Al Hirt D.
Trumpet - Schilke 13b and 14a4a, and occassionally a Jet Tone Al Hirt M.
Not completely satisfied with the mouthpieces. Unless something major happens to change my mind I will travel before the summer is over to meet with Charlie Melk for a consulatation about which GR mouthpiece(s) will fit my needs. I'm tired of chasing mouthpieces. _________________ Richard

I use a Bach 3C for pretty much everything. When I feel like getting a brighter sound, I used a Warburton 4SV with a KT backbore. For flugel, I use a Wick 4FL. _________________ --------------------------------

Good old Bach 10C, sometimes Yam 7B4 to hit those eardrum-blasting higher notes! _________________ Franois

Bach 3C megatone
Warburton 3 1/2 SV, #5 backbore.
I use the Warburton for gigs where I need to 'stick out' a bit more (big band, rock & roll dance band, etc.). The Warburton has a bit larger diameter than the Bach, which I really like. Lately I've been experimenting with something to replace my 3C and I've about settled on a Monette B4 (not Prana).
I've evolved from days gone by when I was strictly a lead player and used some pretty tiny mouthpieces (Jet-tones) to now where I do quite a bit of small ensemble jazz work. The tone is everything for me right now. _________________ --Jim

I started on a good ole Bach 7C. After that I changed to a Conn 4 (you can see it on the conn loyalist) which is rather shallow. And I have settled on a Coast 10 1/2. I got the conn and the Coast with an old beat up trumpet from my fathers friend who played in high school. The coast has a wider rim, which I got used to with the Conn. Have YOU ever heard of a coast? If you have tell me about them I have no idea what company that is.

I started on a 7C then 2 & a half years later through the selfless services of Al Colin I discovered that a 3C is better suited to my chops. I experimented earlier this year very briefly with a 1C and then a 6C (I had my reasons) but ultimately came to my senses. My Bach 3C is all I need to get the job done! _________________ "It's like an act of murder; you play with intent to commit something"- Duke Ellington

Bb: Bach 1 1/2 small letter for all-around and some jazz combo stuff. Warburton 4SV with 5 backbore for lead or Schilke 14A4a. Sometimes pull out the gold 1B for some low 3rd tpt parts in wind ensemble or brass choir.

Right now just a Curry 3C. I dig it. I also own a 3Z and Schilke 14A4a but haven't played in any ensembles for a while where such devilish tools would be suitable. I have a Bach 3C for cornet and recently gave away a Yamaha mouthpiece I got for free after drum corps last summer to some friends that wanted to use it for... "creative endeavors." |

Started on a Yamaha 11B4. Techer told me to switch to Bach 3C. Didn't work well, then he told me a 1 1/2C Didn't work either. Stopped using them and switch bach to the Yamaha and an Bach 7C.
Sounds weird, but sometimes use a Dennis Wick 5 for Power.
Not really a mpc junkie so to say. Ended up where i started...

Schilke 14. But after Swthiel, brought my attention to what Jens Lindemann posted on TH, I sent for a Vacchiano matching a 5C's diameter. Here's a link to what Mr. Lindemann posted:
