Does anyone know the cds on which Maurice Andre plays Bach's Christmas Oratorio and Mass in B minor? I have been searching for these and have not been successful.

andre played on the brandenburg 2 released by the old 'crossroads' lp label. i think they were supraphon products. have you checked that label? it would seem that there is an andre discography available somewhere. i'll search, too.

I have a recording of Andre playing the b minor Mass. It's on record not CD. The group is Soloists, Chorus and Orchestra of Lausanne, conducted by Michel Corboz. It's on the RCA Victrola label.
It hasn't been re-released as far as I know, but it can be found in used record stores. It's deffinately worth the hunt. |
